I have been way behind on sharing SO MANY gorgeous dresses with you, so I decided to start doing a round-up of my absolute favorite dresses of the month that I also deem as “must-haves” because these beauties are just too pretty to miss.
I will also/still have style guide-like posts for you featuring dresses, skirts, and tulle skirts but these kinds of posts will be “what-to-wear” style guide posts. So basically I am going to show you my dresses & outfits but I am also going to give you ideas as to where you could wear them if you decided to do so yourself.
I always have ladies asking me where do I actually wear my dresses and outfits too so I figured this would be the perfect way to show you how and where I wear them!
Now back to these gorgeous dresses! I’m starting with one that truly is such a dream! It has spring and summer written all over it and it reminds me of a beautiful garden just like the ones you’d find in Georgetown ( In DC ). Definitely the perfect combination of my favorite things ( roses+gardens+dresses= one happy gal!).
Honestly it’s a tad on the longer side for me but it’s still very gorgeous. It pairs beautifully with heels but believe it or not I wear this dress out casually with my glitter Kate Spade Keds too.
The pastel blue shade of it truly enchants me and although I am a very serious pink loving lady I am finding myself picking up more and more of this shade in my dresses… I think I am kind of in love with pastel blue as well to be honest lol But I feel like I’m kind of cheating on pink when I say that lol.
Now this dress is truly fairytale-like although when I picked it out I wasn’t seeing it at first. When wearing it, I really get some serious Belle from The Beauty and The Beast vibes and I’m not going to lie, I absolutely LOVE that!.
Ok so I feel silly for actually admitting this but when I first saw this dress online I thought it was covered in hearts! Not florals! lol silly me but it arrived and I could actually see that they were little florals lining both sides of the dress, and I still found myself loving it. My favorite part about this dress is actually the silhouette. It’s so striking! The dress is so fitted in the chest and mid-section and then flares out at the waist. You could say it’s your typical fit-and-flare kind of action going on here but this dress pulls of the fit-flare better than any other I’ve had yet! It really is stunning on, and I didn’t capture a photo of the back… sad face… but it has a subtle little scoop to it which I like as well. Also the skirt part of the dress is very full, which is a total plus because to get that lovely fit and flared/full look from a dress, you usually have to add a petticoat but with this dress that’s not at all necessary.
Like I mentioned before, my heart was truly hoping the this dresses was covered in different shaded pink hearts but since it wasn’t I thought that my Kate Spade Heart bag would make up for the lack of hearts in the dress! And I think it did so wonderfully..

Here’s yet another favorite and this one is incredibly dreamy! It reminds me of Alice & wonderful and ironically the name of it is Alice as well! I am actually going to do another blog post featuring this darling dress ( don’t worry there will be more photos!) Because I want to go into more details with where I would wear this dress and to also give you some ideas for how/where to wear it as well.
Lastly, I have this gorgeous skirt set ( I know I know not a dress!) from Eliza J and I absolutely adore it! It’s so beautiful made, like really I LOVE everything from Eliza J.
The floral print is divine and what I love about the colors is that I think they’re a perfect transition for fall. I mean honestly, I will wear light and girly colors all year-long, but for those of you that like to have your wardrobe go more with the season, I think this is a wonderful option. And of course it still has florals but the contrasting navy and hot pinks take your wardrobe from one season to the next, seamlessly.
As you can also see, I switch back and forth between heels and cute little tennis-shoes and what I love about making those changes is that it allows me to have more versatility with the dresses because in this way they can either be dressed up or worn more casually.
I hope that you enjoyed these dresses just as much as I have and I can’t wait to share with you more of the Alice dress, in an upcoming post!
xoxo my Beauties!
